Job summary

The Rockefeller Foundation seeks a Senior Associate for the Connected Leaders Program in New York. This role translates program priorities into robust operational systems, manages complex projects, and ensures timely decisions through high-quality data and communications.

Reporting to the Director of Convenings, you will collaborate with internal teams, applicants, convening organizers, residents, contractors, and partners to maintain delivery quality and program impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in project, program, event, or operational management.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Experience maintaining and analyzing program or operational data, including data accuracy and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Forms, and familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Claude or other AI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve operational systems and workflows for convenings, residencies, and network engagement.
• Manage end-to-end application and selection processes with intake, tracking, calendars, communications, and decision-support materials.
• Maintain quality control across SOPs, process docs, shared files, trackers, and external communications.
• Serve as operational point of contact for applicants, convening organizers, residents, and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with travel and production providers, contractors, and related grantmaking processes.
• Coordinate learning and feedback processes for Bellagio Center and other convenings, including surveys and reporting.
• Own operational relationship-management with convening organizers and post-convening follow-up.
• Maintain status and tracking for key projects, identifying risks and dependencies to meet deadlines.
• Support partnerships and portfolio activities, including open-call applications and timely decisions.
