Job summary

The Senior Associate, Connected Leaders Program at The Rockefeller Foundation supports delivery and continuous improvement of convenings, residencies, and network engagement, translating program priorities into practical operational systems.

Reporting to the Director, Convenings, the role collaborates with applicants, organizers, residents, and external partners to ensure timely decisions, high data quality, and smooth program execution in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project, program, event, or operational management.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience maintaining program or operational data and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM/workflow platforms like Salesforce and Monday.com.
• Experience with Claude or other AI tools preferred.
• Strong written communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to manage workstreams independently and escalate when needed.
• Interest in The Rockefeller Foundation’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve operational systems for convenings and network engagement.
• Manage end-to-end application and selection processes with timely decision support.
• Maintain quality control across SOPs, docs, trackers, and communications.
• Serve as operational contact for applicants and partners, guiding leadership when needed.
• Coordinate with travel and production providers and contracts.
• Coordinate learning and feedback for Bellagio Center and other convenings.
• Own relationship-management with convening organizers, including post-convening follow-up.
• Track key projects, identify risks, and keep deadlines on track.
• Support partnerships and portfolio activities through research and meeting prep.
