Job summary

Reporting to senior leaders, the role partners with Communications, Policy & Advocacy, and external stakeholders to translate program work into compelling narratives and mobilize support for strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic communications, policy, and advocacy experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of U.S. economic opportunity and workforce development.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an evidence-based program influence strategy.
• Surface proof points and impact stories to Communications and Policy.
• Lead strategic convenings and represent the Foundation at events.
• Coordinate across Communications, Policy & Advocacy, and other teams.
• Develop the program’s annual channel and content plan with audience insights.
• Ensure editorial standards and brand voice across all content.
• Shape messaging for policymakers and external partners.
• Oversee project management systems and vendor relationships.
• Support cross-program initiatives and weekly institutional communications meetings.
