Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney with five to ten years of experience in commercial litigation to join our Boston, MA team. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of three days in the office.

Primary duties include drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and representing clients in depositions, mediations, and trials. Strong writing and research skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence with accuracy.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Prepare, review, and analyze discovery productions to identify key documents.
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate with clients to provide legal advice, defense plans, and status updates.
• Evaluate and research case law, statutes, regulations, and documents impacting clients.
• Provide status updates to the assigning attorney or attorneys.
• Assist in all aspects of trial preparation.
• Manage a litigation caseload from intake to conclusion.
• Help train and develop junior associates, paralegals, and staff.
