Parker McCay P.A. is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Public Schools, Education, and Labor and Employment Law Practice Group in New Jersey.

The ideal candidate has five or more years representing public school districts in education and/or employment law, including special education matters under IDEA and Section 504. The successful candidate will advise school boards and district leaders on complex litigation and a wide range of employment, governance, and day-to-day issues,

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing.
• Five (5) or more years of experience representing public school districts or public entities in education and/or employment law.
• Experience with special education litigation and IDEA/504 compliance.
• Public sector labor and employment law experience preferred.
• Excellent research, writing, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in independent and team settings.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with client-development interest.

Responsabilités
