Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution seeks a 2nd to 3rd year Finance Associate to join its Boston office on a hybrid basis. You will handle secured and unsecured lending, debt finance, and capital markets matters for sophisticated clients, with direct partner access and mentorship from day one.

You will gain increasing ownership over matters, with training and feedback supporting long-term career growth in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–3 years of law firm experience, ideally in finance or capital markets.
• Experience with debt finance transactions and secured lending under Article 9 of the UCC.
• Strong academic background and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support secured and unsecured lending transactions, including Article 9 secured lending and related collateral arrangements.
• Work on debt finance and capital markets transactions across a range of industries and capital structures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documentation.
• Coordinate with clients and opposing counsel to advance transactions, manage closing checklists, and resolve commercial issues.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates while gaining increasing ownership of matters over time.

The Role

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 2nd to 3rd year Finance Associate with:

• Approximately 2 to 3 years of law firm experience, ideally in finance or capital markets
• Experience with debt finance transactions and secured lending under Article 9 of the UCC
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar or ability to become admitted promptly
• A strong academic background and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred exposure to restructuring or workouts and M&A support within a corporate platform
• $225,000 to $250,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Performance based bonus
• Hybrid working with 3 days per week in office
• Billable hours target of 2,000 hours
