VZN LLP in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with 5–10 years of corporate experience, specializing in data center and digital infrastructure deals. You will be embedded with a single large developer client, structuring, negotiating, and closing transactions across its project pipeline in a hybrid setting.

Competenze

• 5+ years of corporate and transactional experience.
• Demonstrated experience on data center, digital infrastructure, or energy transactions, preferably representing developers.

• Ability to own a high-volume, high-value client relationship with minimal supervision.

VZN LLP, a seven-attorney business law firm in Southern California, is seeking a corporate attorney with data center experience to join as a Senior Associate. This attorney will manage high-value transactions, commercial structures, and regulatory matters at the intersection of energy, technology, and infrastructure. The role is dedicated primarily to a single large client, a developer of data center projects. California-licensed attorneys with 5-10 years of corporate experience are encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

Our ideal candidate has 5-10 years of corporate experience, including meaningful work on data center or digital infrastructure deals. You will be embedded with a key developer client, working directly with its leadership to structure, negotiate, and close transactions across its project pipeline. The client has dedicated real estate counsel, so this role focuses on corporate, commercial, and financing work rather than land acquisition or leasing.

Typical work includes:

• Structuring and negotiating joint ventures, development partnerships, and co-investment arrangements
• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across the project life cycle, including power, equipment, construction, services, and capacity agreements
• Supporting project-level and corporate financing transactions, including debt and equity
• Advising on commercial structures and regulatory matters affecting energy, technology, and infrastructure projects
• Managing deal timelines, diligence, and closing deliverables across multiple concurrent transactions
• Coordinating with the client's in-house team, real estate counsel, lenders, and other advisors

Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $175,000-$275,000 base salary annually. This is the presently anticipated low and high ends of VZN's pay range for this position. Actual base pay will depend on experience, location, and tiered billing targets. Additional compensation, including performance-based bonuses, may be available. VZN LLP ties total compensation to billable rates, yield, and other factors that reward exemplary performance.

Location & Start Date

This position is hybrid and based in Los Angeles. Candidates in the Los Angeles area are preferred; exceptional California-based remote candidates will be considered, and the firm has colleagues throughout Southern California. The position is available immediately. Candidates will be interviewed on a rolling basis, with some flexibility on the start date.
