  • Senior Associate Attorney plays a central part in the firm's Indiana foreclosure practice, overseeing legal matters from initiation through resolution. It requires managing contested foreclosures, pleadings, hearings, and client communication, making it vital to the firm's litigation services in the state.

3-4 Non-negotiable requirements of this position:

  • Active Indiana Bar Membership:The candidate must be a member in good standing with the State of Indiana Bar. This is essential for practicing law and representing clients in Indiana foreclosure matters
  • Extensive Foreclosure Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience handling Indiana foreclosures is required. The role demands advanced knowledge and independent handling of foreclosure proceedings, including contested matters.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The position requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in client interactions and legal documentation. Clear and professional communication is critical for client service and courtroom appearances.
  • Ability to Manage and Prioritize a Heavy Caseload
  • The role involves managing a large volume of cases efficiently.
  • This requires strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.


Nice to have skills:

  • Management or Leadership Experience: While staff and office management are part of the role, prior experience leading a legal team or managing an office would be a valuable asset and help the candidate hit the ground running.
  • Client Development Skills: The job includes opportunities for client development, so a candidate with business development experience or an existing client network could contribute to expanding the firm's Indiana presence.
  • Familiarity with Client Systems or Case Management Software: While not stated as a requirement, experience with legal tech platforms or client systems (e.g., Black Knight, Caseware, etc.) would help streamline workflow and communication.
