The D. E. Shaw group is seeking a senior associate to join its Management Reporting team within Financial Operations in New York. The role focuses on delivering executive-ready analyses on compensation and management company economics to senior leadership.

You will partner with senior leaders, frame insights clearly, and help scale the team’s capabilities, including leading initiatives in generative AI integration and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in management company finance, compensation consulting, or internal strategy roles at large alternative asset managers.
• Ability to influence senior decision-makers through reframing analyses.
• Proven track record of rigorous analysis with incomplete data.
• Exceptional executive communication skills.

Responsibilities
