Job description

The D. E. Shaw group seeks a skilled associate to join its Management Reporting team

within Financial Operations. The team is responsible for delivering high-impact analysis

and executive-ready insights to the firm’s senior leadership, with a particular focus on

compensation and management company economics. This role provides broad

exposure to the firm and supports a range of core operational, reporting, and analytical

processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY

• Execute recurring compensation, accounting, operational, and reporting activities to ensure continuity across core workflows, including reconciliation, data preparation, and related processes.

• Contribute to comprehensive compensation modeling, variance analysis, trend reporting, and related senior leader advisory analyses to support planning and

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A bachelor’s or advanced degree, a record of professional and academic achievement, and at least two years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, or a related field; experience supporting operational reporting, compensation-related processes, or accounting workflows is a plus.

The expected annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $160,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
