Job summary

Johns Hopkins University seeks a Senior Associate Athletics Director to lead capital projects, events, and facility operations for our diverse athletics program. The role requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives across campuses.

You will supervise the facilities and events teams, collaborate with campus partners, and ensure compliance and academic excellence for student-athletes while advancing the department’s long-range plans.

Qualifications

• Seven plus years of collegiate athletics administration experience.
• Ability to oversee capital projects and event operations.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and goal setting for capital projects, event management, and facility operations.
• Oversee capital improvements and a 10-year plan; manage budgets.
• Oversee Assistant Athletic Director and Associate Athletic Director, Facilities and Events.
• Maintain facility budget and generate revenue through rentals, camps, clinics.
• Manage facilities staff and interns.
• Serve as sport administrator for varsity teams including supervision of head coaches and NCAA compliance.
• Collaborate with campus partners to manage capital improvements.
• Lead senior leadership team on athletic and recreation strategic initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
