Job summary

Streepy Lemonidis Consulting & Law Group, PLLC in Seattle seeks a Senior Associate to join our labor and employment practice. The role is full-time in a hybrid Seattle-based setting with some work-from-home flexibility.

You will advise labor organizations, apprenticeship programs, non-profits, and individuals on workplace and employment issues, draft and review contracts and policies, and prepare opinions and memoranda.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and WA Bar in good standing (or eligible for prompt admission).
  • Several years of labor, employment, or workplace law experience, preferably representing such clients.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Excellence in legal writing, including drafting briefs, memoranda, contracts, policies, and client memos.
  • Experience in client counseling, negotiations, and advocacy before administrative agencies, boards, or courts.
  • Ability to design and deliver trainings or educational programs on workplace rights and compliance.
  • Commitment to principled advocacy, ethical practice, and advancing client understanding.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple matters and deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively in a small firm setting, independently and as a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; explain complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and standard office software.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Senior Associate will be a full-time member of the legal team in a hybrid role based in Seattle, WA, with some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising labor organizations, apprenticeship programs, non-profits, and individuals on workplace and employment-related legal issues. The Senior Associate will research and analyze complex legal matters, draft and review contracts, policies, and other legal documents, and prepare opinions and memoranda. The role involves representing clients in negotiations, administrative proceedings, and, where appropriate, litigation, as well as developing and delivering trainings and educational materials on workplace rights and responsibilities. The Senior Associate will collaborate closely with partners and colleagues, manage their own caseload, maintain clear communication with clients, and contribute to business development and firm initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission).
  • Several years of experience practicing labor, employment, or workplace law, preferably representing labor organizations, apprenticeship programs, non-profits, or similar clients.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law and apply them to complex factual scenarios.
  • Demonstrated excellence in legal writing, including drafting briefs, memoranda, contracts, policies, and client communications with clarity and precision.
  • Experience in client counseling, negotiations, and advocacy before administrative agencies, boards, or courts.
  • Ability to design and deliver trainings or educational programs on workplace rights, compliance, and best practices.
  • Commitment to principled advocacy, ethical practice, and advancing client understanding of rights and responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a small firm setting, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including use of standard office software
