Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its legal team in Seattle, WA. This position involves providing legal counsel and representation to public sector clients, including school districts, on a wide array of legal matters. The role requires a motivated and flexible attorney with a commitment to mastering multiple areas of the law in a collaborative firm environment.

Duties:

1. Provide legal advice and representation to public sector clients on various legal issues
2. Handle cases related to labor and employment law, collective bargaining, and public procurement
3. Draft and review contracts and legal documents
4. Advise on constitutional and civil rights, special education laws, and administrative matters
5. Ensure compliance with public records disclosure and open meetings laws
6. Represent clients in legal proceedings and negotiations
7. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and motions
8. Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented firm environment

Requirements:

• Strong academic and professional qualifications
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple areas of law and adapt to diverse legal issues
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
• Commitment to professional development and expertise expansion

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity
