Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field and five years of progressive experience in analytics or related occupation.
• Experience in data modeling of large-scale real estate/economic datasets using advanced statistical and ML techniques.
• Designing/maintaining interactive dashboards in Power BI backed by SQL/Python logic to visualize investment metrics.
• Developing automated ETL pipelines using RESTful APIs, AWS, and Snowflake to ingest and process data from multiple sources.
• Integrating data-driven insights into fund strategy, asset allocation, and investment decisions.

CBRE Investment Management, LLC has an opening for a Senior Associate (CBREIM004) in Los Angeles, CA.

Duties: The Senior Associate will be responsible for the execution of analytics and risk measurements. They will review and maintain performance results; leverage internal and external data to derive key insights on performance and strategy using performance attribution and risk analysis; partner with Portfolio Management and Executive Leadership teams to integrate data driven insights into fund strategy, asset allocation, and investment decisions; review and approve analytical data for marketing material development including presentations, RFI/RFP responses, and general consultant due diligence; monitor and maintain industry and custom benchmarks; collaborate globally with regional analytics teams and oversee data flow from internal and external providers; manage clean hierarchical databases to ensure error free performance data and that investment team reports are delivered on time through various dashboards published to the team's Power BI workspace and app; facilitate dynamic interactions with investment team in developing new models and reporting; design process and workflow improvements. Telecommuting permitted three to four days per week.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Data Analytics, Real Estate Finance, Engineering Management, Information Systems, or related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Data modeling of large-scale real estate and economic datasets using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques; Designing and maintaining interactive dashboards in Power BI, underpinned by SQL and Python logic, to visualize and monitor investment metrics, including AUM diversification, fund and segment performance and attribution, and risk analysis; Developing automated ETL pipelines using RESTful APIs, AWS, and Snowflake to ingest, standardize, and process datasets from multiple third-party sources; and Integrating data-driven insights into fund strategy, asset allocation, and investment decisions

Rate of Pay: $165,818.00 USD to $185,000.00 USD per year.
