The State of Colorado Judicial Department seeks an experienced Senior Assistant General Counsel to serve as in-house counsel for judges and department leadership. You will provide legal advice, draft complex memoranda, and represent administrative authorities in employment matters.

You will conduct legal research across civil, criminal, HR, domestic, probate and contract law, participate in trainings, and support human resources and policy development.

Responsabilidades

• Represents the Colorado Judicial Department on legal matters.
• Conducts complex legal research; analyzes laws, rules, and regulations for clients.
• Drafts specialized and complex memoranda and legal briefs across multiple practice areas.
• Advises clients on administrative and operational issues.
• Represents administrative authorities in employment disciplinary proceedings.
• Develops training materials on legal issues for Judicial Department personnel.
• May participate in internal committees or workgroups.
• Attends meetings and trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
