Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, prior public accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting.
• Experience with government contract accounting is strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and payroll accounting.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to requests.
• Partner with engineering/project teams on costs and profitability.
• Develop accounting policies and drive process improvements.
