Restaurant Zone Recruiting seeks an experienced Assistant Controller for a fast-growing private equity-backed vacation rental group. Lead month-end close, GAAP reporting, and GL management across multiple entities.

The role emphasizes technical accounting, process improvements, and cross-functional partnership with operations and finance leadership. Remote work option within the U.S.; travel minimal.

Qualifications

• Strong U.S. GAAP expertise and technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 805, ASC 842.
• Experience with multi-entity environments and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Manage general ledger, intercompany transactions, and allocations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with policies.
• Support audits, system improvements, and accounting integrations.
