Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Iowa seeks a Senior Asset Recovery Specialist to review delinquent accounts, determine loss mitigation options, and drive recoveries. You will perform full analyses, coordinate repossession steps, and work with vendors to maximize recoveries.

This in-office role is based in IA (Clive or North Liberty). Expect hands-on skip-tracing, lien review, and collaboration with Collections leadership to protect members and reduce losses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years collection experience.
• Ability to complete full analysis of loans to determine repossession, foreclosure, charge off or recovery placement.
• Working knowledge of legal principles, practices, terminology and research techniques.
• Punctuality and OT may be required; non-traditional hours possible.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills for member interactions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to core values and service standards in fulfilling the credit union mission.
• Perform daily delinquency reviews and follow-ups via phone, email and mail.
• Conduct skip-tracing to locate members and assets.
• Analyze loss mitigation options, including liens and title searches.
• Prepare and submit loss mitigation and charge-off recommendations.
• Maintain accurate member records and communicate with vendors.
