Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a proactive Asset Protection Lead to oversee investigations and enforce policies related to theft, safety and security. You will educate retail staff on shrink, food safety and workplace safety, and take ownership of the store during critical incidents to protect the brand.

You will build relationships with law enforcement, prepare evidence, and lead investigations across multiple units with flexible scheduling and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent experience required.
• Experience in investigations, case management and retail loss prevention.
• CFI designation preferred or equivalent professional training.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of internal and external theft/fraud and document findings.
• Provide leadership in security, shrink, food safety and workplace safety.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and retail partners during incidents.
• Conduct store visits to ensure security standards and execution of strategy.
• Prepare case evidence and communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
