Job summary

Peak Demand is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to maximize the performance and reliability of utility-scale solar and energy storage assets. This hands-on role combines technical troubleshooting, contractor oversight, and operational management to ensure projects perform as expected.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong knowledge of power generation equipment, and the ability to interpret SCADA data and production trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years overseeing operations or asset performance for solar PV and/or battery facilities.
• Experience managing utility-scale solar, battery storage, or hybrid assets.
• Strong knowledge of power generation equipment and maintenance practices.
• Ability to interpret SCADA data and production trends to identify issues.
• Experience directing outsourced O&M teams and handling warranty claims.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the operational health and daily performance of solar PV, BESS, and hybrid assets.
• Evaluate production trends and equipment availability to identify performance shortfalls and improvements.
• Use SCADA data to diagnose issues and coordinate effective solutions.
• Hold O&M partners accountable for maintenance schedules and performance.
• Manage warranty claims and coordinate with manufacturers to resolve issues.
• Establish standardized practices to ensure consistent operations across facilities.
• Share operating insights with development, engineering, and construction teams.
• Prepare plant performance information to support portfolio evaluations.
• Recommend measures to strengthen reliability and streamline operations.
