Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a senior asset management leader to guide advisory projects for transit, highways, water, energy and airports. You will collaborate with clients, lead multi-disciplinary teams and deliver strategic planning, data governance and lifecycle analyses to improve performance and reduce risk.

The role emphasizes development of client relationships, proposal leadership, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring high quality deliverables and alignment with ISO 55001 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, Transportation Planning, Operations Research or related field.
• 10+ years of post-education experience performing similar work.
• Experience as a consultant delivering complex asset management projects.
• Experience in asset management across transportation, water, energy, municipalities or utilities.
• Experience developing asset hierarchies, data standards and data dictionaries for EAM systems.
• Experience pursuing new business opportunities, developing technical proposals and winning work.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills both in person and remote.
• Strong analytical skills including asset performance data and lifecycle cost analysis.
• Understanding of ISO55001 and its implementation within agencies operationally.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and pursue strategic consulting services including maintenance, technology, asset data, organization and process improvements.
• Lead implementation of asset management improvement initiatives with multi-disciplinary client teams.
• Develop asset management plans, facility condition assessments, asset performance management, lifecycle cost analysis, and capital needs assessment.
• Contribute to staffing needs and staff retention.
• Lead business development activities including identification of new client opportunities, proposal development and marketing to grow the business.
• Demonstrate excellence in maintaining quality standards of existing services.
• Develop solid client relationships and collaborate internally to offer the best solutions.
• Provide leadership in mentoring junior staff and developing their technical and soft skills.
