Shell is seeking an Asset Engineer to join the Sewaren Terminal team in New Jersey. The role provides engineering leadership to support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of terminals, pipelines, and related facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Process preferred).
• 5+ years in facility/operations/project engineering roles.
• Experience with risk management and process safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day facility engineering support for terminals and pipelines to ensure safe operations.
• Lead risk assessments and maintenance strategies to improve reliability.
• Oversee capital and expense projects from concept to handover with safety focus.
• Collaborate with operations, HSSE, and project teams to optimize asset performance.
• Support asset planning and budgeting to identify reliability improvements.
