You will lead capital projects, manage budgets, mentor teams, and coordinate with customers, regulators, and contractors. This role requires 10–15 years of relevant experience in terminals/refineries, strong SHEQ knowledge, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant work experience in project management within a terminal, refinery, or petrochemical plant, including proven leadership of technical teams (5+ years of terminal-specific experience preferred).
• Strong ability to translate complex technical plans and government documents into clear, actionable terms.
• Solid project and financial management skills, with experience handling multiple budgets and projects using MS Office tools.
• Extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (SHE) principles, risk assessment methodologies (QRA, EIA, Hazops), and relevant regulations (API, NFPA, OCIMF).
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally; experience in dock design/construction for oil and chemical tankers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages capital budgets; implements cost-saving strategies to maximise asset reliability.
• Oversees design, construction, and timely completion of capital projects and facility modifications.
• Acts as primary liaison for technical, engineering, and maintenance matters among internal teams, customers, contractors, and authorities.
• Drives maintenance programs and 3YMP to improve reliability of terminals.
• Manages and mentors project and maintenance teams to maximise productivity and technical excellence.
• Evaluates and integrates new terminal technologies; ensures accurate record-keeping for all equipment.
• Champions SHEQ standards; ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Executes technical audits and ensures projects align with company standards and regulations.
