Job description

Position Title : Senior Asset Development Manager

O2EPCM, Inc. is a prominent award-winning firm providing Professional, Technical, Consulting, and Management Services in the Planning, Design, Engineering, and Construction Industry to Local, State, Federal Government Agencies, Utility Companies, and Private Clients. We are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for various projects.

Salary Range : $174,000 - $184,000

Duties :

  • Establish structures, formulas, and assumptions necessary for planning multibillion-dollar projects.
  • Manage and oversee planning and master planning architects and in-house staff.
  • Collaborate with Board staff to translate policy into actionable instructions.
  • Coordinate with the Office of Environmental, Health and Safety (OEHS) for environmental clearances such as CEQA.
  • Protect long-term asset values and uses of district real estate and assets.
  • Formulate strategies to increase flexible use of district assets.
  • Allocate resources and energy toward high-priority, high-risk, high-benefit projects for the Facilities Services Division of the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Required Experience :

  • Twenty (20) years of full-time paid professional experience in planning and development for public agencies, educational, or institutional facilities.
  • Five (5) years overseeing complex survey activities of educational properties for physical attributes and future use.
  • Five (5) years overseeing development of recommendations for fund allocation to enable future projects.
  • Five (5) years overseeing recommendations for project prioritization and phasing supporting educational master plans and programming.

Preferred Experience :

  • Experience with LEED and/or CHPS projects.
  • Experience with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) processes.
  • Experience with construction management.

Required Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management from a recognized college or university. Additional coursework in business administration, public relations, accounting, school finance, personnel management, educational facilities planning, and communication are preferred.

Preferred Licenses and Certifications :

  • Valid Architect registration by the California State Architectural Board or Professional Engineer license by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
  • Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Management Institute (CMI).
  • LEED Professional Accreditation.
