Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• Minimum 7 years in commercial banking or credit analysis or loan review.
• Experience in Asset Based Lending preferred.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to assess collateral and borrower financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Manages an Asset Based Lending portfolio with emphasis on collateral and borrower progress.
• Performs financial and credit analysis on borrowers.
• Monitors trends within the client's industry.
• Monitors documentation, collateral and financial statement exceptions.
• Assists in new business by preparing Preview Memos and underwriting packages.
• Ensures sound underwriting principles and guidelines are maintained while conforming to reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Identifies, recommends and implements strategies to reduce risk including changes in risk rating.
• Independently meets with borrowers, prospects and service providers as needed. Reviews outside legal documents.
• Diagnoses client needs and facilitates cross-sell of Bank services.
• Performs other duties as assigned by senior staff in Asset Based Lending.
