Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires leadership ability and strong technical knowledge in fitting and welding of process piping.
• Must read and understand P&ID and engineering docs.
• Experience reading NDE results and working in ISO 9001 environments.
• Proficient in MS Office and shop scheduling practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize the department workforce and throughput.
• Ensure proper welding procedures are followed and training is implemented.
• Provide job status and scheduling information to Manufacturing Manager.
• Drive continuous improvement and corrective action to reduce quality cost.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized shop conditions and housekeeping.
