Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in pipe spool fabrication or related field.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in a fabrication environment.
• Ability to read piping isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, weld maps, and material specs.
• Knowledge of welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW.
• Familiarity with ASME, B31.3, API, AWS standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily spool fabrication activities, including fit-up, welding, cutting, assembly, and preparation for inspection.
• Assign personnel and equipment to production activities based on workload, priorities, and qualifications.
• Monitor production progress to meet schedules and targets.
• Review fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, weld maps, and material specifications.
• Coordinate work sequencing to minimize delays and rework.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture; ensure PPE and equipment safety.
• Lead, coach, and develop pipe fitters and welders.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
