Job summary

GasTech-Engineering-LLC seeks a Vessel Department Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and lead the fabrication of pressure vessel equipment in compliance with ASME/ANSI codes. You will drive safety, improve throughput, and ensure adherence to GasTech Quality Requirements.

Responsibilities include directing department staffing, tooling planning, and root-cause corrective actions while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years welding and fabrication experience, 3+ in a Code welding facility.
• Strong hands-on fitting and welding background required.
• Experience leading teams preferred.
• Able to read and understand engineering documentation.
• Experience reading NDE results required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage vessel department output and throughput.
• Adhere to safety expectations and participate in safety audits.
• Provide supervision in Manufacturing Manager's absence.
• Ensure personnel are qualified per GasTech Weld Procedure Specifications.
• Control job flow through the department and scheduling.
• Interact with staff, customers, and vendors professionally.
