Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking an Assembler II to safely assemble equipment on an assembly line. You will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality, through multiple stations and with support for new hires.

The role requires a High School diploma and 3+ years of manufacturing or general labor experience, with occasional travel up to 5%. The position is based in Butner, NC and offers a hands-on environment with modern tooling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or general labor.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto JLG/Jerr Dan products using safe and proper tools.
• Install various JLG/Jerr Dan product accessories (decals, mud flaps, cameras, lights).
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components; read electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Demonstrate ability to repair issues identified during troubleshooting.
• Work across all stations and assist training new team members.
• Use electronic devices including EQC, MDS, JED, AS400.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures and 6S standards.
