Personalis, Inc. is hiring to join our R&D team in Fremont, CA. You will collaborate with scientists and clinicians to plan, execute, and analyze oncology solutions.

You will perform hands-on NGS library preparation and work with real-world samples to develop precision medicine products for pharma, biotech, and clinical partners. The role requires BS/MS in relevant biology, 3 years of lab experience, and proficiency in DNA/RNA extraction, QC (Qubit, TapeStation).

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biochemistry, or related science.
• 3 years of hands-on molecular biology laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Support development, optimization, and validation of oncology assays and workflows.
• Extract DNA/RNA and prepare libraries for NGS.
• Process sample cohorts for validation studies and collaborations.
• Evaluate new protocols and provide feedback to SOPs.
• Maintain sample tracking and report findings in team meetings.
• Adhere to safety, quality standards and company policies.
