Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to independently service and repair ASRS equipment in a cold storage warehouse. You will perform preventive maintenance, complex repairs, and modular overhauls on pallet handling machinery and related electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience on ASRS or equivalent systems.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and troubleshooting on 3-phase electrical systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting PLC systems.
• Proficient with computerized maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of lubrication, power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Understanding of electrical safety including arc flash.
• Experience using Lockout Tagout procedures and devices.
• Understanding of principles of lubrication, power transmission (sprockets, chains, belts, drives, clutches), hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proficient with industrial machine Ethernet networking, electrical wiring of equipment and system control panels, and sensors and devices.
• Experience with change management methodology related to programming system controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair ASRS pallet handling equipment and related machinery.
• Troubleshoot 3-phase electrical systems, VFDs, servo drives, and PLCs.
• Program and configure barcode scanners, label systems, and light curtains.
• Overhaul and configure control systems for modular components.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Work flexible shifts and on-call assignments.
