Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced Asphalt Quality Manager - P.E in Las Vegas, NV to oversee asphalt production quality, ensuring compliance with NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO and related standards, while leading a quality control team.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with a P.E. license and at least 5 years in asphalt QC/operations, plus strong leadership. We offer competitive pay, full benefits, a 12-20% bonus, company car and gas card, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E) license required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in asphalt production, quality control, and operations.
• Extensive knowledge of NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other relevant standards.
• Proven experience managing a quality control team with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of asphalt production, ensuring quality and compliance with NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other applicable standards.
• Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes and procedures in accordance with industry best practices.
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of the quality control team, providing training and guidance as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in quality across all operations.
• Manage the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable testing results.
• Prepare and present regular reports on quality control activities, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
