Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Asphalt Plant Operations or a Heavy Industrial Manufacturing environment.
• OSHA compliance and regulations.
• EPA technical aptitude.
• Mechanical aptitude with asphalt plant knowledge.
• Detail oriented with strong time management.
• Effective communicator (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Operate automated plant control systems to monitor materials, temperatures, and mixing times.
• Ensure precise blending of aggregates and liquid asphalt cement according to QC specs.
• Oversee loading of asphalt into haul trucks, ensuring correct weights and legal load limits.
• Monitor liquid AC, fuel, and aggregate stockpiles; coordinate with Loader Operator to keep the plant fed.
• Perform advanced maintenance on conveyors, baghouses, drum dryers, screens, and elevator systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean facility and conduct pre/post-shift inspections; document findings.
• Ensure OSHA and EPA compliance, including dust control, emissions, and LOTO procedures.
• Proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards; participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain daily production logs, maintenance records, and fuel/oil usage reports.
