Qualifications

• 4+ years in Asphalt Plant Operations or Asphalt
• 1 year in Supervisory/Leadership capacity preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Plant Operators, Laborers, and Mobile Equipment Operators.
• Assist in planning daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet demands.
• Provide coaching, conduct performance evaluations, and enforce company standards.
• Lead onboarding and training of new hires, ensuring cross-training in plant operations.
• Monitor production cycle, adjust burner settings, feed rates, and mix designs to optimize output.
• Coordinate with QC to ensure mixes meet state and local specs.
• Oversee material receipt and inventory to prevent downtime.
• Lead safety culture through toolbox talks and site inspections.
