Job summary

APAC-Atlantic, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Area Manager to safely lead asphalt paving crews, plant operations, and utility teams in the Coastal Georgia and Low Country South Carolina markets. You will partner with estimating, sales, and safety to drive profitability and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, cost control, and continuous improvement within a growing division of CRH.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee asphalt paving crews, utility crews, and plant operations across the assigned area.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and production schedules for safe, efficient execution.
• Establish priorities, monitor performance, and implement actions to improve productivity, quality, and profitability.
• Lead superintendents, supervisors, foremen, plant personnel, and other operations staff.
• Oversee daily plant operations, production planning, product quality, costs, and compliance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality control to maximize plant reliability and uptime.
• Manage budgets, forecast, and cost-control activities; review reports for trends and risks.
• Foster relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal partners; support business development.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team; drive succession planning.
