Job summary

APAC-Atlantic, part of CRH’s South Division, is a leader in asphalt production serving Coastal Georgia and Low Country South Carolina for over 70 years. An Asphalt Plant Laborer will perform a wide range of general duties at an asphalt plant including shoveling, moving materials, and maintaining good housekeeping while adhering to all safety regulations.

Experience around Asphalt and/or construction equipment is preferred. Shift differential may apply and the job may require work on any shift.

Qualifications

• Maintain reliable attendance and meet safety/performance standards.
• Capable of repetitively lifting up to 50 pounds and passing physical exam.
• Experience in asphalt/construction environment is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate at an asphalt plant, shoveling and moving materials while maintaining housekeeping.
• Follow safety regulations and quality standards; work any shift as required.

Job Description Summary

An Asphalt Plant Laborer will perform a wide range of general duties at an asphalt plant including but not limited to: shoveling, moving materials, and maintain good housekeeping while adhering to all safety regulations. Experience working around Asphalt and/or construction equipment is preferred.

Requirements

• Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company safety and performance standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be able to repetively lift up to 50 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and be capable of passing required physical examination.
• Experience desired, not required.
• No Driver's License required.

Shift differential may apply - job requires ability to work any shift.
