Job summary

APAC-Atlantic, a CRH company serving Coastal Georgia, is seeking a Plant Operator to supervise plant crews and manage the weighing and delivery of aggregates and asphalt cement. You will partner with the crew to keep production efficient and on schedule, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to climb, operate equipment, and willingness to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems used in plant operation.
• Ability to operate plant computer systems and related controls.
• Ability to communicate effectively with plant personnel and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant crew and operations at a concrete/asphalt plant.
• Weigh and deliver aggregates and asphalt cement to the dryer and mixer.
• Ensure production runs safely, efficiently and in accordance with specifications.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and adhere to safety regulations.
