Job summary

APAC-Atlantic, a CRH Company, is seeking an Area Manager to lead asphalt paving crews, utility crews, and plant operations across the Savannah area. You will drive safety, schedule adherence, and profitability while aligning with CRH quality standards.

You will collaborate with estimating, sales, maintenance, and EH&S teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, develop leaders, and optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years in heavy civil construction and asphalt operations.
• 5+ years of leadership managing multiple crews, projects, facilities, or operational units.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and operational performance measures.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Direct asphalt paving, utility crews and plant operations across the assigned area.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and production schedules for safe, efficient execution.
• Monitor performance, costs, and project profitability; identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-control activities.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal partners.
• Develop and mentor operations staff and succession planning.
