Job summary

APAC Central Inc. is seeking an Asphalt Equipment Operator to support road construction projects in Oklahoma. You will operate a variety of heavy equipment, control material flow during paving, and help ensure quality asphalt placement and site safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of relevant experience (3 years preferred), and a CDL Class A/B license. Travel, overtime, and weekend work may be required; a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant equipment operation or construction experience; 3 years of road construction experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A/B license with possible hazmat/tanker endorsements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA/MSHA regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Control material flow and depth during paving operations.
• Understand prep surfaces, grades, drainage, and paving patterns.
• Operate paving, curbing, spreading, and finishing machines.
• Perform routine equipment servicing and report major issues.
• Drive and operate curbing machines, backhoes, loaders, and trucks.
• Coordinate truck dumping and jobsite traffic; ensure safe work area.
