Cerebras Systems is hiring a Senior Front-End Design Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA. You will join a world-class team designing the next generation of the Cerebras Wafer Scale Engine (WSE).

The role centers on RTL design, integration, and collaboration across verification, physical design, software, and system teams. We seek a candidate with 8+ years of high-performance RTL experience, a Master’s degree in CS/EE, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience delivering complex, high-performance RTL designs.
• Experience with Front End Chip integration and third-party IP integration.

Responsibilities

• Drive all aspects of chip design, including Functional Specification, Micro-architecture, RTL development, Synthesis.
• Collaborate with PD team to meet performance, power, and area goals.
• Coordinate with Design verification and DFT teams for high coverage.
• Partner with software and system teams to optimize product performance.
• Debug silicon-level functional, timing, and power issues during bring-up.
