Job summary

Meta is seeking an ASIC Engineer focused on Architecture Kernel Development in Sunnyvale, CA to join the infrastructure organization. You will build accelerators for high‑demand workloads and contribute to a PyTorch backend prototype for these accelerators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience for HPC/kernel development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python (or related languages).
• Experience with computer architecture or silicon development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI kernels for Meta AI models on Meta AI Accelerators.
• Develop tools for static performance analysis and debug performance on the dynamic performance simulator.
• Identify the compiler, ISA, and optimizations; validate performance on RTL simulation/emulation.
