Job summary

Broadcom in California seeks an experienced ASIC Implementation Engineer to lead complex design closures across synthesis, floorplanning, place and route, clock methodology, power planning, timing, and signal integrity checks.

You'll work with global design teams, leverage multiple EDA tools, and drive peer reviews to meet stringent quality requirements. Opportunity to influence critical silicon blocks and mentor others in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience across synthesis, floorplanning, place & route, timing, SI, and physical design checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more disciplines in design closure on large complex ASIC implementations.
• Demonstrate expertise across multiple EDA vendor solutions and adapt to changing requirements.
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Collaborate with customers and design teams across geographies.
