Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical or Computer Engineer to join our Microelectronics Technology team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will design, implement, and verify advanced testbenches for high‑performance digital ASICs and FPGAs, contributing to signal processing and information assurance technologies powering Mission Systems.

Responsibilities include SystemVerilog testbench development, RTL verification, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Experience with ASIC/FPGA RTL development, VHDL/Verilog, and testbench creation.
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog, constrained-random verification, and common toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Verification environment architecture and design using SystemVerilog with OVM/UVM
• Testbench development for RTL block verification using VHDL and/or SystemVerilog
• Contribute to engineering estimates for new program pursuits
• Provide technical leadership for project verification teams
