Job summary

Amazon Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to define and implement digital chip SOCs for Low Earth Orbit communications. You will drive silicon architecture from spec to RTL, optimize timing, power, and throughput, and ensure high-quality silicon with first-time-right objectives.

The role involves creating standalone verification benches, collaborating with system teams, and working on space-grade requirements to deliver robust modem and DSP solutions in advanced CMOS nodes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in digital design, preferably in communication systems.
• Experience in products that have gone to volume production.
• Experience in low power design techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement wireless system architecture in silicon from system specification to chip level validation.
• Drive design quality to meet timing, power, and cost constraints.
• Create verification test benches and work with verification teams using UVM, SystemC, and DPI-C.
• Ensure blocks meet DFT, timing, and power targets with the implementation team.
