Job summary

Draper is looking for an experienced ASIC CAD Engineer in Cambridge, MA, to support Digital, Analog, and Mixed-Signal design teams. The role encompasses circuit design, EDA tool management, and optimizing hardware performance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, extensive experience in integrated circuit design, and is proficient in Cadence and Siemens EDA tools. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $82,300 to $220,000.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in ASIC Hardware Engineering with a bachelor's degree.
• 3-5 years of experience with a master's degree.
• 0-2 years of experience with a PhD.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate circuits at transistor-level.
• Contribute to system-level design and optimization.
• Develop and teach best practices to less experienced engineers.
• Independently drive solutions to complex problems.

Skills

Integrated circuit design

Proficiency with Cadence and Siemens EDA tools

Gitlab and CI/CD

Scripting languages

EDA flow automation

Linux system administration

Education
