Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize packaging processes at the Bloomington, IN site. You will work with cross‑functional teams to identify improvements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in aseptic manufacturing or automated inspection & packaging.

The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Engineering & Maintenance and requires ownership of equipment, process improvements, and CAPA activities to drive

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years in aseptic or packaging engineering in pharma.
• Ability to lead and execute engineering projects.
• Knowledge of aseptic processing and packaging practices.

Responsibilities

• Own equipment and processes in filling/packaging areas.
• Lead process improvements to boost efficiency and quality.
• Develop URS, specifications, and design docs for new processing.
• Draft and execute FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ for packaging systems.
• Collaborate with external firms on design and feasibility.
• Maintain project schedules using MS Project.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts and quality.
• Provide training and technical support to operations.
• Communicate across all management levels and stakeholders.
• Assist with site investigations and CAPA implementation.
