Job summary
Hydro-Environmental Technologies, Inc. (HETI) in the Metro Boston area seeks a seasoned Asbestos Inspector / Asbestos Project Designer to join our field team.
You will support asbestos inspection, abatement design, and monitoring across Massachusetts and neighboring states. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in asbestos inspection, design, and project oversight, holds Asbestos Inspector and Asbestos Project Designer certifications, and can manage full lifecycle projects with attention to
Qualifications
- Must hold MA license at time of hire.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- NIOSH 582 (Phase Contrast Microscopy) certification.
- Asbestos Inspector and Asbestos Project Designer certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform asbestos inspections and surveys per regulations.
- Develop asbestos abatement design documents, specs, and cost estimates.
- Conduct air monitoring and clearance sampling for abatement projects.
- Monitor abatement contractors and oversee projects.
- Collect bulk samples and coordinate lab analyses.
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Travel throughout the New England region as needed.
