Job summary

Hydro-Environmental Technologies, Inc. (HETI) seeks an experienced Asbestos Inspector / Asbestos Project Designer to join our Metro Boston / New England team.

This field-based role supports asbestos inspection, design, and monitoring across Massachusetts and surrounding states. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of asbestos experience and holds certifications as an Inspector and Project Designer, capable of managing full lifecycle projects from inspection to monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in asbestos inspection, abatement design, and project oversight.
• Must be currently licensed in Massachusetts at time of hire.
• Certifications: Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Project Designer, and related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos inspections and surveys in accordance with federal and state regulations
• Develop asbestos abatement design documents, specifications, and cost estimates
• Conduct air monitoring and clearance sampling for asbestos abatement projects
• Perform project monitoring and oversight of abatement contractors
• Collect bulk samples and coordinate laboratory analysis
• Prepare technical reports, abatement plans, and regulatory documentation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state regulations
• Travel throughout the New England region as project needs arise
