Job summary

ActioNet, Inc. is seeking an experienced Wireless Network Engineer with 10+ years in Aruba wireless systems. You will lead Aruba Mobility Conductors integration, manage APs, and ensure robust security using 802.1X, RADIUS, EAP-TLS, and WPA3. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with eligibility for Secret clearance.
• Minimum 5 years of Aruba wireless systems and enterprise WLAN design experience.
• Expert in 802.11, RF design, and WLAN troubleshooting.
• Proficient in network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, Ekahau, AirMagnet, Aruba Central, ClearPass).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and security principles.
• Preferred certifications: ACMX, ACDX, CWNP.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize Aruba-based wireless networks for performance and security.
• Conduct wireless site surveys and predictive modeling with Ekahau or AirMagnet.
• Implement and manage Aruba Mobility Conductors, Controllers, and APs.
• Develop secure authentication and encryption (802.1X, RADIUS, EAP-TLS, WPA3).
• Configure VLANs, SSIDs, and QoS; monitor performance and security.
• Lead VSS activities and guide network segmentation and access control.
• Collaborate with security teams on WIDS/WIPS and document configurations.
• Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and security policies.
• Stay current with wireless trends and propose improvements.
