Job summary

The Texas Rangers are seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining, optimizing, and documenting Aruba-based network infrastructure across multiple venues, including stadiums and offices.

You will administer Aruba ClearPass, manage wireless and routing/switching, and ensure high availability, performance, and security. Candidates typically have a BS in CS or 5+ years enterprise IT experience, with Aruba and BGP/OSPF skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/related field or 5+ years of equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience.
Hands-on Aruba networking experience (ClearPass, wireless controllers, wired controllers switching, dynamic segmentation).
Strong routing and switching fundamentals (OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP).
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Proven troubleshooting abilities in multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support Aruba network infrastructure across multiple locations.
Administer Aruba ClearPass for network access control and policy enforcement.
Administer Ruckus wireless networks.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance at stadiums, offices, and remote sites.
Configure and manage routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs).
Participate in network upgrades, expansions, and incident response.
